Valerie Bertinelli

Valerie Anne Bertinelli (born April 23rd, 1960)[2] is an American actress. The actress first gained recognition in her adolescence, playing Barbara Cooper Royer on the sitcom One Day at a Time (1975-1984) and for which she received the two Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries or Television Film. The following year she made her debut as an adult in the television series Touched by an Angel 2001-2003 as well as Melanie Moretti in the sitcom Hot in Cleveland 2010-2015. The latter earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award. In 2012 she earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bertinelli was signed to a new contract to join Food Network in December 2021. Bertinelli has hosted various shows on Food Network such as Valerie's cook-in-the-home (2015-2023) and Children Baking Championships (2015-present). This show that she hosted was awarded 2 Daytime Emmy Awards out of six nominations. In December 2021 Bertinelli has signed a new contract to Food Network.Bertinelli was a wife to rock musician Eddie Van Halen from 1981 to 2007, with whom she had one son, Wolfgang.
